Well all the hope of any real sun and warm weather is gone, max of 11 degrees and rain by Friday. What a stinking crap year it is weather wise so far.
Forecast has certainly washed out badly. A week of 20 degrees forecast 7 days ago. I could have tolerated a week of sunny spells and 17, but it's got even worse.

Yucky muck.

Dont follow on this one, to be honest.

Presuming we are talking about the UK - We havent had many (any?) national level disastrously damaging storms, or floods. We've had plenty of very nice cool, fresh, blue sky days, on a quite regular basis every couple of weeks or so. Its only April.... and the overall air temp is definitely rising, spring is blooming, theres enough water in the ground for things to be growing... feels fine to me!

Give it another couple of weeks, it'll be May, we've got some long weekends coming, Winter will be long forgotten.

It was grimly fiendish (heavy drizzle) here near Chesterfield first thing.

First day of the year I've been able to take the laptop into the garden to work today. It's so depressing that this country can't just keep the nice weather going for any length of time, looking at the forecast god knows the next day I'll be able to be out here again.

Colorado. Snowing again. Gently, with no chance of settling, but out of the blue with nothing in the forecast.

I was planning on turning the sprinklers on this weekend, but the forecast now shows night time temperatures below freezing deep into next week.

We said goodbye to our warm dry weather today, my garden was flooded, I nipped out to our local supermarket, good job I was wearing my coat at the till as water came cascading through the ceiling and soaked us all! biggrin

I took this picture on Apr 23 two years ago:

Today however, we have cancelled plans to take the granddaughter out and have had a comically wet walk with the dogs. I'm just a little bit sick to death of this constant rain now.

Just as a heavy sleety/snowy shower rumbled through on a strong NW wind, the power went off.. Nice little 10 minute outage to start the day. Forecast for the next few days far from springlike.
