I must admit, with the latest Doringer/Hill ammendment, I struggle to keep up with the 'it's Tuesday' card. I thought you could only play it on a Thursday confused

Taking a more traditional route though, Acton town.

Bank played before 7pm on a Wednesday? That hasn't been done since The Great Hiatus of 1902, so called because of the time ito took to repair the resulting damage to the playing surface.

There's precious little time available now to avert a repeat of those events. But, I clutch my brolly, bowler and briefcase to my person and plunge to Roding Valleeeyyyy...

Well played sir and a timely intervention to avoid unnecessary damage to the playing surface.

However, your mistake was to clutch your chapeau in the wrong hand so it is necessary to effect a Siddy Holloway (note not Sidney Holloway) manoeuvre and redirect to Stepney Green.

Wimbledon in the morning is most definitely bold. Stovold’s 2nd amendment to the standard convention may apply here. However, as it dates to 1972 one must remember that the Jubilee Line extensions can't be valid when invoking this amendment.

Yes but remember Chancery Lane has the Thursday special exclusion clause as detailed in revised appendix 6.5 of 1939.

I'd be very keen to exert a manoeuvre on Siddy Holloway.

Er, but anyway, moving swiftly on, I do seem to recall a Jubilee switchback being successfully played in the 1989 UK Championship Finals and, as we're well into July....

You nearly got me. Under the 1932 ratified rules that'd be a cinch to jump to Mornington Crescent.

...but I then remembered we're playing the Humboldt Variant, and it's mid-week...I'd have ended up in huff.



Hainault is an interesting move. It's not the Dollis Hill loop, but I think I can still pull off a similar increase in angular momentum and swing back to Liverpool Street.
