On an East / West axis, I'm bang in the middle of that yellow area.

Fingers crossed that the best summer ever gets even better with a decent light show and a bit of noise.

Most likely only Essex and maybe a little of East Sussex will get the big stuff. Berkshire may end up with a passing display.

Fingers crossed!
Last year we had a thunderstorm that was pretty much continuous lightning - it was epic.

I've just been doing some browsing and it seems that in the South East we are due two batches of storms tomorrow.

Also this warning looks mega! (click on Tuesday / Weds)

Fairly sensational weather all day and a lovely warm evening, in Munich.

Here in Japan, it’s the wet season but everyone has been saying how oddly dry it has been. Same in Thailand last week.

Rain is starting near Winchester. Hopefully the power goes off and I can have a nice sit!

Should there have been an 'h' in that sentence?

Damp squib and NO thunder alert, all Blitzorg is showing are maybe three strikes somewhere over the Worthing / Brighton area.

The rain is yet to start here in East Berks.

Fingers crossed though that something will bubble up!

Well that was as expected. A little rain for an hour, that is all. #pray4us

The squib of dampness !

Light rain has started here in East Berks now.

Looking at the rain radar, there is a huge (bigger than London) sized lump of very heavy rain currently over the channel islands that will arrive in the next few hours, that is if it doesn't fizzle out on route. It is not producing any lightning though.

I'm hoping the increased heat and mugginess will mean later storms crossing the channel have a better chance of survival...
