nearly died today . paramedics sorted me out and i am now back home smile just needed to share that with somebody . this is my fifth visit to A&E this year , plus narrowly avoided a head on crash , two operations . i am not remotely religious or superstitious but i am a lucky little fecker this year. plus i got to perv at some nurses again
Jeez! That's not great!

Are you being treated long term? Same symptoms and stuff?
This isn't good. Bloody hell folks we need to rally round as Bomma and XJR need support, nurses, enemas, the lot.
enemas i have had , really do not want any more . nurses smile i had one flirting with me outrageously , shame it was a male one smile
we often criticise the NHS but they do their best with the limited resources they have . ongoing treatment is there but i have an un diagnosed issue which needs investigating .
just to put all this into context , as i was walking along a corridor towards the exit , i saw a neighbour of mine and her husband . they are both in their eighties and very active . he is an ex racing driver to boot . the lady was on a trolley in a corridor waiting to be seen in A&E . yet she and her husband were all smiles , so i gave her a hug , i think that was more for my benefit than hers , but it made them both smile.
whilst in my cubicle a couple of old dears who were with a chap in the next bay came around to say hello . their relative was in a really bad way , having been brought in by air ambulance . they kept smiling and waving when they walked past . sorry if i am rambling on a bit , my memory is a bit hazy and i have not sleeping much lately .
anyway , i managed to fix my washing machine this morning , using tools and a roll of sticky tape smile
anyway chaps , onward and upward and thanks for the kind words .

Rambling is one of the many sub titles to trivia thread.

I can ramble for hours,no one reads it but it makes me happy.....ish.

Anyhooo....looked at my Speedo and I believe that I am 3 miles short of doing 40,000 in Fabio the Fiat.
Did about 450 yesterday.....tongue outcool

A very good friends wife had a fatal accident last week. She was in someone's house and mistook the loo door for the cellar door. That's all it took.
Anyway onward and upward. I'm trying to do six things at once as usual. Don't know wether I'm screwed bored honed Whitworth BSF or.. yes.. pushfit at the moment.

All this illness is making me worry being here could be an issue!

What's up,with Bomma? Thought it was Mrs B with the health issues.

Bomma and Cooped are crook. The enema is on its way and there something about having had one but I think it's a reference to the Nurse.
I think one of them is OK. It's all very confusing I may have got it wrong.

Seems I have been plodding about and not so plodding about 3-4 times a week down the gym with a dodgy heart. Unrelated blood tests a week ago pointed to an issue, investigative surgery today, getting it fettled on Wednesday. Just got to try not to 'tap out' until then!!

Not sure what scares me more, watching somebody tinker with my heart or not knowing I had a problem that undiagnosed could very well have killed me when it finally decided to let me in on its secrete. Feeling lucky at the moment, might have a bash at the lottery tonight....

Don't you just love genetics, Surgeon said nothing you have done too wrong but your genes catch up with you at some point!

I've got him tied up in the loft.

ION I might risk going to the shop and brave Halloween hi jinx.

I might take Penrose with me for protection.

Has this become the PH invalids thread? I've got a spare spoked wheel that may fit.

The time has come for me to study the endeavours of Radiohead.

What with them being a local band and all.

I feel I have been neglecting them.

Wikipedia says he died in a purple 1275 GT.
He also died on my dad's birthday,a fortnight before his own 30th.
Also says his house was looted soon after.
