I think most middle-aged blokes will have noticed this, but suddenly at some invisible point, the young checkout girls stop flirting with you and adopt that don't-even-think-about-it-you-dirty-old-perv look. Or perhaps it's just me.

Even though a middle-age stripling, I get far more of the flirty stuff than I ever did a couple of decades ago. However, still comes with slightly too much 'you could be my daughter, even if I don't have one' shudder.

Thinking I'm still young at 32, but training an 18 year old new starter, and realising i'd been pubic longer than he'd been alive.

I had to read that a couple of times, but you really did mean what you said! Wonder what made you think that...

Not being able to get pissed without a 3 day hangover
I thought you were female, us older blokes have a reason for having to get up in the middle of the night, you just need to cut back on the drink wink

I had to show one of the personnel girls from work how to get to our depot a few weeks ago and she asked how long I'd worked at our company. I told her I have 27 years service to which she replied, "I wasn't even born then".

Was chatting to a very attractive young lady the other day. Though I was doing rather well, making her laugh and all that.

Until she patted me on the shoulder and said "you are funny, you're just like my dad"
