Puggit = Wevver Legend.

Just had a peep at Blitzorg and it is crazy on mainland Europe. Not a peep here in the UK, yet....

So next week should start to see the inverse of what we've just witnessed. Looks like it will gradually warm up under the influence of far away highs, before warm weather returns properly, and could be for a while smile

Productive morning. Managed to fit a new Bonnet cable to the car, went for a hair cut and then halfway through mowing the back lawn... The heavens opened. grumpy

Pleasant day today, SE could hit 20. I could live with this weather every day. Cool mornings, warm afternoons. Lovely.

Same again tomorrow, a few degrees warmer.

Then another cold front off the Atlantic, bringing some rain and cooler air. After tomorrow we're in slack air, no low pressure or high pressure in command. More mixed bag weather. Perfectly pleasant for spring.

Good signs continue for later May to be good, but nothing in the bag.

Oop north (Lancs) it has been, as they say up here, "cracking the flags" all weekend, especially yesterday. An unexpected and welcome bonus.

Royal Wedding update for those who are going or holding parties - current thoughts are much like today. Should be pleasant and sunny. Not too hot, unless you sit in the sun for hours on end.

My sister and wife's boss are going - lucky sods (both do important jobs in Berkshire).

I cannot - but as I talked about on one of the weather threads, this is still residue of La Nina and the sudden stratospheric warmings that brought about the cold spells. Now it's warm spells!

Moved all the seasoned firewood indoors for a final dry and chopped next year's firewood and put it in the log store. Been hot but thought it would be worse swinging and axe around all day. Had some lovely summer tunes going to, been hard work but a rewarding day.

Brother is getting married that day, trying to work out if we'll need big fans to keep marquee cool!

Funnily enough after getting bored doing 'real' work this morning, I went and sorted the firewood. Felt good to split some logs strangely.

Absolutely terrific weather, I'd be happy with this in Summer!
