Upon discovering a teaspoon in one's underpants in a public place, how should one proceed to remedy the situation?
Are you planning to stir the beloved's tea caddy with your crusted spoon?Looks like the new PM and her cabinet may be closet spoonists judging by the reported remarks of an SNP MP
"SNP spokesman Pete Wishart describes the reshuffle as "the night of the long silver spoons", teasing Commons leader, prominent Leave campaigner, and Theresa May-backer Chris Grayling about his lack of promotion so far."
Despite the obviously elitist type of spoon employed by the Tories, will this scoop herald a resurgence in our hobby do you think?

.. whereas the Labour 'crew' are marching into civil war armed on one side with a coffee shop wooden stirer and the other, a spork. (And both sides carry about their person, the deadly 'lenininsky flick spoon' with sharpened edge, drain channel and a handle designed for back stabbing).
Folks, never has the time of the spoon been so full of malcontent and disharmony.
Is it true, or mere rumour, that Corbyn stirs his redbush using an anticlockwise motion?

I'm glad I have found this thread.
Sadly it appears I am something of an outcast. Due to an accident several years ago, I find the action of clockwise stirring to be quite uncomfortable and have to go against the grain. Whilst this I know will leave many of you aghast, I remind you that the alternative would be to not stir at all, or worse, use my left hand. Someone did once suggest I put the milk in the mug first and that the agitation provided by the water being poured in would be sufficient to blend the liquids to a sufficient level, but that person was subsequently killed in an unrelated axe-to-the-face accident.
However, due to my injury I was quite chuffed when I received a rare 1996 Le Grandeur in aluminium, but due to a production error, both the handle and the spoon end were put on backwards, making it ideal for anti-clockwise motion. as you may know, these production errors are usually disposed of immediately and the whittler removed from their post, but this one was snuck out by my uncle's godson's father's neighbour and smuggled out in a clever compartment in his lunchbox.
however I fear that posting an image may disclose its location to the manufacturers and they would be on my doorstep demanding the return of their stolen property.

I've just been "obliged" to have my collection valued by Santander, the Spaniards are obviously nervous about Brexit as the max claim value for my cherished beauties (even the enamelled Krupps) has been slashed by 25%. Seriously tempted to sell the lot no reserve on e-Bowl but that's a bit of a severed nose/spited face action. So no, to your question. Prepare for a shafting (no pun intended).

Your enamelled Krupps don't have the inlaid thrusters though do they?So no, to your question. Prepare for a shafting (no pun intended).
Just saying.

No, they're later than that, unfortunately, and I can't retrofit. A custom re-melt and mould is the only way, and for obvious reasons I'm not doing that.
I wasn't going to say anything but a friend of mine is a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a chap who's neighbour walks his dog past the assistant researchers mums house and may or may not have overhead a conversation last week about some early Pilgrim Silver Crested Whirlers being 'found' on the show.
Amazing how these things are 'found' under a floorboard in a detached outhouse in rural Kentucky and may or may not have been bought for $4.50.
It all smells very fishy to me.

'S funny that the Russian Olympic stirrers were allowed into the Rio games on the nod.
And, where did Adolf Krupp and half of his craftsmen end up after WWII?
Just sayin'.
And, of course, nothing at all to do with the current chair of the Federation International des Cuilleristes being from Uruguay. And, where did Adolf Krupp and half of his craftsmen end up after WWII?

I have just purchased a Shakira Ninja ZX350RS peformance teaspoon. It makes beautiful pops and bangs from it's BerryBomb galvanised titanium and gold leaf Wizard when it stirs. Simply beautiful.
No class. I know of two London teaspoon clubs (no need to mention which, if you know, you know) that would not accept you as a member. While I understand that for certain things modernisation is an improvement I will not tolerate this for the classic, majestic teaspoon.Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
