There's this strange yellow blob in the sky over South Bucks. Are aliens coming?

And in Colorado....a foot of snow. Heavy, wet, snow. 90% done shoveling my drive; I'm knackered. Most snow I've seen here in a few years.

Glorious day in West Berks - lovely warm lunch time walk with a bit of a gusty breeze.

Confirmation that it has been the wettest year and wettest 18 months since records began for parts of England:

Is March going to break rain records like February? The rain is endless and it’s mightily depressing. I am glad to be escaping the country for a few days soon!

My Magnolia is just starting to flower (In Surrey). That means that a hard frost is imminent on the first night after opening its petals.

Really fed up of the constant rain and damp down here in Devon. More forecast for the weekend as well...

As expected the weekend forecast was vaguely positive for about a second, and now it's back to cloudy with rain. The Corvette shall remain dormant.

West of Scotland, yesterday heavy rain all day with an overnight low of around 7 degrees and today light rain with an overnight of minus 2 degrees and tomorrow forecast overnight is 7 degrees. Strange to see a blip of one night like this.

Loire Valley sitrep... delightful sunshine and vicious showers.

Last night's crossing was supposed to have been rough. Was a great crossing.

Love the Loire Valley - did an epic drive from Warsaw to there in a Quattro Avant and returned a few years later from Yorkshire in a TVR Griffith. Stayed in the hotel a stones throw (literally) from Chateau de Chambord - the locals and guests thought the Griffith 500 was epic.

We loved it so much we bought a house here...

Keeping it on topic, the problem is the weather is similar to southern England 90% of the time.

With a house like that you could just walk him around the ball room.

We are lucky to live on the edge of the estate and it’s a great walk; I think parts of Outlander were filmed here (I’ve not watched it myself but have been out for a walk when they were filming).
