I think there might have been two books. But I was only really fussed with the transport pictures!

Quite famous I think. Certainly remember the name 'Richard Scarry'.

Haven't gone through 127 pages, but when I was a kid, there was this electronic video game which looked like a pair of triangular binoculars. Inside was an LCD screen and you held the game to your face, there were left / right / fire buttons and it was the best game ever. The red one was a space invader type game, I'm sure there was a silver version which was car oriented, but maybe I'm making that up.

Does anyone remember it or know what it was? I would love to buy one even though it won't be as awesome as I remember.

Turn them inside out, place on a flat surface and then they jump up into the air. Thrilling stuff back in the day!

I remember when the PS1 was advertised me and my friend played Worms 1 on the PC. It was only a demo (2 levels IIRC) but it was brilliant.

Then the PS1 came out and his brother had loads of games and I was scared stless of the original Resi Evil game!

This bit in particular:

Also had these as a kid to put on my Batman PJ top before bed if I had a stuffy nose:
