You clearly don't understand what empathy means.

I do, and I addressed that in part of the post that you didn't quote.

If you wish to debate your jumping to conclusions, and wrongness on the subject in general, in the manner of an adult I will engage. If you want to behave like a naive five year old I'll call it quits.

You could start by looking up "Condescending".

She isn't but Ava Vidal can be. I liked the joke aimed at her daughter. "Yes, you are fat but you could at least have the common decency to be jolly."

Frankie Boyle - an exercise in making the most offensive remark you can in the name of supposed humour.
Lots of people think he'd funny but he's not for me.
Except he is funny and often has a very good point to make (along with great one liners)

He's okay, just a bit repetitive and that thing he does with his nose every time he thinks he's been funny gets right on my chebs.

This is sexist by default, but is not my intention, however, I honestly cannot remember the last time a female stand-up made me laugh?

Happy to be educated if anyone knows any funny ones worth a watch?

Millican... a Whelk.. thankyou thankyou thanyou 10/10

I will admit my nose is not stuck into Hello and all those other so called celeb poop paper...who buys them? around our way it seems to be Chinese take aways as there is always a pile of them. Anyway

it was only watching pointless Celebs the other week that i realized that Gary Delaney really has a weird sense of humour.. He MARRIED it!!!!!

She is a fine example of looking like nowwhat she will look like in 30 years, doesn't need that new aging app at all

Oh and she isnt funny
Sarah Millican seems to have made an entire career out of a hapless personal life and a Geordie accent.

My GF agrees with you. Whenever we're at a comedy club and a woman is announced she rolls her eyes

She was terrible when she first started but Jo Brand's material has been pretty good for a few years now. Sandi Toksvig is good on panel shows, and I've always thought Lucy Porter was funny.

Linda Smith is sadly missed.

I saw Lucy Porter at a comedy club in Newcastle along with a few other comedians. She was the only one I'd heard of but by far the least funny. She's better on TV shows than doing stand-up. I felt for her as she died a death at times.

Irrespective of ‘what she / people might’ say or think , She’s still not funny. And that’s a bit of a key element really of being a comedian isn’t it.

You only say that as white people are blind to her comedy (watch the Apollo sketch)

When she’s on mock the week it’s clear she’s as funny as having nails pulled and only made it due to a certain something I can’t put my finger on as a white man im blind.

Try looking over the other side of the pond.

Iliza Shlesinger, Ali Wong, Chelsea Handler, Jen Kirkman - all great stand ups (IMHO)

Odd, isn't it? Some great US female comedians. I'd add to your list Natasha Leggero, Maria Bamford, Kathy Griffin.

Iliza Shlesinger (as mentioned above)

She cracks me up - and seems to have a good balance of ‘the mental’ from both sides of the sexes
