Maths is just applied philosophy.
Shouldn't tax accountancy be way over there on the right hand side beyond Maths (just next to Bistro-matics)? hehe

Tax accountancy should be on a different chart altogether covering the most incomprehensible things ever invented, right next to Quantum Physics and the instructions for most self-assembly furniture.

And right next to all those should be religion. Because it also requires a belief in impossible things.

Also, in my experience, there is a pre-screening process:

 if (isPicThatContainsFemaleNipples())
violates = true;
else if (isTransphobic()) // even if blatantly so
violates = false;
else
violates = actuallyEvaluate();

I am confused.

The statement is correct.

Or am I missing something? Like a sense of humour, perhaps.
I got a bit confused there as I always thought the Solar system was one of gazillion other solar systems out there.

I think the point of the joke was that a cursory reading would cause people to misread it. smile

I think it's a piss take of anyone who states "There are more atoms of hydrogen in a glass of water than there are stars in our galaxy", or anyone who nods sagely at the above without actually engaging their brain, the attempted engagment of which was probably the reason for making the statement in the first place.
I liked it. I had to read it twice. The first time I read "More hydrogen atoms in a molecule of water than stars in our galaxy."... "Someone's not with it today" I thought. On the second reading it turned out that someone was me. jester

Did they start out as a Grade 36 bureaucrat before being demoted to Grade 38 and then promoted to Grade 37?
