Unfunny Comedians
Discussion
Angela Barnes is quite good on MTW, as is Kerry Godliman.
Would quite happily do mankind a favour though by running Zoe Lyons and Gina Yashere over with a bus though.
I enjoy watching Rachel Parris and Ellie Taylor, both look like they'd be great company in the pub, can't stand Nish Kumar though so can't watch The Mash Report without wanting to smash the television.

Nish 'one joke' Kumar apparently presented his one joke (buildup: brexit brexit brexit. Punchline: brexit brexit brexit) at a cricket charity event at the Grosvenor.
Satisfyingly, he was bread rolled off after about 60 seconds. Though he refused to leave at first, causing further booing and hails of baked product.
Apparently there is video of it, guess they won't be showing it on the BBC.

Jimmy Carr is just as bad, and Ricky Gervais has lost his edge too.
Did he ever have an edge? I’ve also seen Micky Flanagan who for the entire show simply kept reminding the audience how wealthy he was now..... yawn.....

I guess Nish Kumar had to roll with it when he got pelted with bread the other day with his crap jokes...
I think Gervais works well in the written format, After life was very good for his recent work.
As for live, have seen a few comics in the last couple of weeks - Alfie Moore was a bit flat but still funny, Mark Watson was good and Jack Whitehall was really funny.
For me, the better comics are able to skirt political issues and make clever jokes about it (or just avoid it) rather than the politics being the punchline itself.

I like Gervais. Frankie Boyle not so much.
All Comedians are funny...and unfunny...subject to their audience. Everyone has their own sense of humour and what appeals to me, might not appeal to you. The measure of a comedian being confirmed as 'funny' is their relative success. Anyone who is able to make a decent living from it is successful and therefore 'funny' as they have an audience - even if they are unfunny to you or I.
