Managed out for a little XC ski tour in the forest in Aberdeenshire this morning, lovely sunshine and a decent amount of nice snow.

Looks like a chance of more snow by the middle of next week.

Seems like the coldest morning we’ve had in South London for some time - hard frost has hit the garden, potting shed is down to below freezing. Kitchen is now refuge to the tender plants I stupidly put out when it was summer a couple of weeks back.

Yep - returning for the weekend. Grrrr. Nevermind, managed to get our cabin in the garden painted this weekend. We have a heater in there - we will be using it!

Heavy snow for NE Scotland tomorrow... I'd book in for skiing if I lived up there.

The long range forecast for the whole of April is grim.
March did set a new record for sunshine though, but only in Scotland and NI.

Aberdeenshire at 7.30, and pretty heavy on the way into town. Traffic light though.

A dusting here in Aberdeenshire but looks like quite a bit forecast for the rest of the day. Nothing exciting so far but it's flat calm and quite atmospheric i guess.

Hopefully it carries on so i can get the xc skis out again this afternoon.

The temperature and levels of precipitation have varied quite a bit last few weeks but one that has remained pretty constant is the bloody wind. Its howling today again
