Sleeping pills in the coffee urn is also quite effective.

Is it not possible to leave the political grandstanding out of ANY thread?

It's not as if it's even remotely amusing. I'd have found this tedious as an eight year old.

I found it remotely amusing. A chuckle, not an outright laugh.

Someone put decaffeinated coffee in our office coffee urn, fortunately it was discovered before the entire office fell asleep.

A couple from my years in and around the motor trade.
Old dear tips up at a garage in a Mini/Metro-insert as appropriate-complaining of rough running etc. Mechanic can't find anything wrong so goes on road test with old dear who promptly pulls the choke out to hang her handbag on.
Garage owner asks his wife to pick up a part for him-a head gasket-and when she returns with it, it's folded up in her shopping bag.
I've lost count of the number of times these have been told to me over the years!

Politics. A bit deep for an eight year old. When you are much older you will get it.
