I've been rumbled at work, for the past 2 weeks I've been turning the microwave dial down to the lowest setting every time I was in the kitchen, they've twigged on to it now!

I'll leave it a few weeks then start again!

There was a story a few years ago about a clever sting operation carried out by a US police department. They had a load of wanted criminals they were unable to locate, so what they did was send them free tickets to a major football game ( sent to their last known address ), made to look like they'd won a free draw for them. Quite a few of them turned up for the game, and were promptly arrested
