It's alright for you lot, with your glow-in-the-dark jabs and stuff, I spent Sunday afternoon throwing up and being dizzy for England and ended up having the attention of some paramedic chaps and an ambulance. No idea what it was, something to do with "positional vertigo", if you're offered some, best to decline it.

I'm now taking tablets which make me feel as though I'm not responsible for my actions. I'm looking forward to a flourescent jabby thing, just to make me feel as though I'm normal again.

I'm confined to barracks, watching tv when I'm awake, and sleeping when I'm not. I've discovered that daytime tv isn't all that bad, been watching something called "The Motorbike Show", which is actually quite good, in a "blokes in sheds" sort of way, and repeats of "Minder", which is actually brilliant. I might do this full-time.

Bloody ell Dermot! I have a mate that went through a phase of having vertigo, very unpleasant.

His was a reaction to arthritis medicine.

And yes, it surprising how good Minder is, utter classic.

Trust me Dermot O'logical I know exactly what you are going through, Mrs Bobbers suffers from BPPV which is basically what you're having, hers started after an ear infection and progressed to Menierres disease and has ended up at BPPV, the "cure" for which is basically shaking her by the shoulders in a specific way and then laying her down until it subsides!!!! I really do feel for you mate, get well soon!!!

Decided that a filthy dirty kebab will be the only thing to stop me craving one for tea tonight!!!

I went to work today expecting it to be just another day and got called into a meeting, after the other members of the workshop team had been in.
Apparently we are getting a 2.5% pay rise which given the situation last year and this year so far is good news.
Apparently, despite us only making 2/3rds of our target, the company is still going to pay us 2/3rd's of the company bonus, so another bit of good news which we weren't expecting.

Considering how many companies on that business park have either gone under or have laid staff off until things improve, then i am quite happy with that. Might not be much but it's more than i was expecting.

Thanks, Bobbers, that's what my GP has diagnosed (over the phone). Apparently I need to have my crystals realigned, I've been told (not by my GP), which sounds like we're heading towards dream catcher and herbal tea territory.

The GP has said that he can do the necessary head realignment or whatever it is, if the tablets don't work. As they're keeping me in a sort of agreeable stupor, I might ask for some more. Although I'm not supposed to drive, operate machinery, or drink anything stronger than tea or coffee while I'm taking them, so I might have to make a decision.

Filthy kebab sounds good.

BPPV sounds a bit unpleasant, please include me out of that little club!

IOTN, after a damp start this morning, things brightened up later on, so when Big George had finished with me, I drove home and got the hose and buckets out to give Percy TVR a good wash and a bit of a polish, then drove him to his new lodgings at Daughter #1's new house.
Judging by the weather forecast for the next few days, it's a very timely move.
I have parked him in the optimal position inside the garage, and dangled the old suspended tennis ball to make things easy each time in future. When the windscreen nudges the ball in the centre of my line of sight, the car is inch perfect. Ta dah!

No Twiglets for dinner this evening, I had smoked mackerel, chips, beans and egg. lick

Now I'm in the doghouse for "stinking the house out!" furious

That's without me venting a single fart. angel

It's now pissing down outside with rain lashing the windows.

Happy Percy is snug and dry cloud9
