Look like odd shoes to me.
Me too.

I think they are a pair though.
As I indicated, the seller is a gentleman of impeccable character, so yes, they are a pair, it would be a 'design feature'.
Berluti would appear to something of a Jeffery West of Italy.

French, Berluti is a French company. Granted, founded by an Italian, but they have 'Paris' in their actual logo.
Not my style. Also they are way above £1K per pair, but for many models you only get one shoe for your grand.

That would explain why they look as if they were purchased separately.

Got me.
TBH, I'd never heard of them before and at those prices I shall be giving them a wide berth in future.
Had a look through much of the collection and not really my style either in any case.

To be fair soad, with no flooring, skirting board, table or sofa in the shot that only left the shoes themselves for critique.

No fleece lining, but they were cheap.

New shoes today from the Jeffry West factory shop / hq. Not as pointy as most JW and rather more conservative than some which suits me.

Pleased as I have been meaning to get some for a while but no luck with my size when visiting.

They desperately need wearing, polishing and patinating.

You know about the carpet, don't you.

They are office/work shoes, but current contract is 100% WFH based.

I don't know about the carpet.

Another pair from the collection, Mashburn's again, with inevitable carpet.

Never heard of Sid Mashburn until now, are you based in the US?

More of a ‘can you help’ post. I have 2 pairs of Russell & Bromley ‘Munro’ boots (as below). Sadly now no longer in production. Can anyone recommend anything similar please?

I was at the time that I first heard of them. Now EU/UK. I don't buy many dress shoes, and theirs seem to fit my feet nicely, hence I stuck with them.
