Summer isn't back. Snowing again here, and due to continue for most of the day.
Sounds like there’ll still be some snow on the peaks when we land in Denver on 9th June smile

There should be. You might have to head a bit further west to some of the larger peaks, but you should find snow without too much difficulty.

Thanks - heading West the next day and a nosey around Aspen on the 11th, so hopefully get some pics that aren’t just bare rock!

Dunno if it's just up here in the northern territorities but while it is a pleasantly warm day today, it's impossible to venture outside without getting covered in billions of white 'bits' that are floating around in the air. No idea what they are but they closely resemble the white spores from dandelions when they die off. If it wasn't for the sun being out and the temperature you could easily mistake it for snow ! irked

There will almost certainly be snow up on the peaks here in Summit County. We had some more snow up here yesterday on the higher ground.

Conversely, it was 20c this morning before 8am. I may be jinxing it, bit I think summer may finally have made it.

It was 2c at my house this morning. That’s proper rubbish. I have a greenhouse full of chillis and cucumbers that are properly cross as they just get going frown

I really shouldn't worry; it's snowing again. Not heavily, but there's due to be up to a foot in the mountains.

It will, when it stops snowing.....

Actually, a friend of mine is currently making deliveries in Alaska. She landed at Nome the other day - it turns out that the only months where snow isn't guaranteed there are July and August...

5" and it's nearly June. This is absurd. I bet Bertie got hammered, too.

Getting on for a foot now and still snowing. Thankfully I don't go back to work until Thursday so hopefully it will be gone by then.

Went to central city at the weekend, plenty of snow on the peaks further west.

Yeah was snowing in Yellowstone today. Spent most of the day in the park and it never got above 5c.
