In all seriousness though, how is yours holding up? Looks like you have quite a sheltered porch? Mine is out in the elements and within 2 weeks it was borderline unreadable, shame really but then it is only stencilled on rather than a different colour weave.

In other frivolous news, bought this as I already have the batteries, and it's handy for both keeping my Shogun chassis salt free (ah, JDM steel) and also for spot washing bits of the pavement outside my house where filthy chavs neglect to clean up after their dags.

It's capable of running from a pop bottle as well as a hose, unfortunately I don't tend to buy 2 litre pop. Luckily I had another empty bottle I could improvise with biggrin

Oh, I've been thinking about getting one of those. Is it any good?

It may be sacrilege but my intention is to build these and sit them on a shelf so I can admire them. The Egress was well out of my league growing up (I had a Tamiya Falcon), so when they re-released the kit again I really wanted to own it.

It is fairly sheltered, and faces northwest, but still a bit indistinct. It's easier to read in the photo than in person!

It depends what you want to use it for.
It's never going to have the power of a 240v Karcher, so if you want to blast graffiti off of pavements then I'm afraid it's no good (it won't quite dislodge the winter's ground-in dirt from my paving slabs), but if you're looking for something to snowfoam and wash off a car or blast away moss and algae, it's just the ticket and obviously much more wieldy!

A377 near Exeter? An acquaintance had 2 full size bears from him for the garden. His wife was less than impressed biglaugh

I think so. We were going from Staunton to Teignmouth.

Thankfully my wife has excellent taste in bears.

Him indoors has frivoled and it’s apparently all my fault….

I wanted a new car last year, one that suited me and my needs so I leased an electric mini. I bloody love it. It’s perfect for me
Him indoors has an Abarth Spider and frequently used the Freelander I had before the mini. Obviously when I switched up and the freely went he had 3 choices, spider, mini or his prized XR2. Apparently none of these are practical….

He’s bought a bloody Civic Type R. He now has three cars. It’s apparently my fault he’s bought it because I didn’t have a sensible car he can borrow.
He’s justifying this by telling me it’s an up and coming classic…..

Meanwhile I’m thinking how practical it would be to drive to Disneyland in. Every cloud and all that biggrin

Civic Type-R is eminently practical. 5-door hatchback innit? biggrin

Plus it's got all those little winglets and spikes, to which you can attach various baubles.

Not entirely related to this thread but when I was very young (around 1949) I was on a trip with my dad in his lorry and we stopped at a transport cafe on the A1 and it had a real life bear in a cage at the side of the car park, even at a very young age I thought that it was a cruel thing to do.

I could have got on board with the new one, but this is the 2011 FN2 version....
In slight defence we owned a Type S some years ago which from memory was a nice car, and it has those clever little gaps under the seat for extra Disneyland Purchases storage biggrin

I love how us Brits consider an RC model, cordless pressure washer or novelty t-shirt to be a frivolous purchases. Americans go straight for the deadly weapons.

Ha, yeah….
I found out my head of IT ops at work lives in Nowhere, California, and spends his weekends shooting sniper target from 1500+ metres. He also has a bunch of AR15….. why?!

Owning such a thing is totally beyond my comprehension.

But, each to their own.
