The view straight out of the office looking south over Norbiton and out towards the delights of Tolworth.
The view down, however, is another matter. Below is the London Road, the old A3, now mostly avoided by the Kingston Bypass. This the site of the Fatberg, a 15 tonne accumulation of cooking fat and baby wipes that threatened civilisation at large and the traffic through Norbiton in particular. The work, which has made painfully slow three way lights necessary and is scheduled to take months, is to be postponed around Christmas and resumed in the New Year.
It's not a pretty sight.
New year?! Please tell me you're joking. Thats my run to Uni(Hampton Wick to Roehampton Vale) and its really pissing me off. its easy to avoid when going as you can take the way around the back of Tiffin and your office but going the other way its damn near impossible to avoid. The view down, however, is another matter. You know about the Birkenhead Avenue dodge, but have you realised you can use Gordon Road behind Wickes in both directions?TonyRPH said:
