Does anyone believe supernatural rubbish?

Can I say this for the final time?
I felt the individual puffs of air dissipate on my forearm, exactly as exhaled air feels when someone blows on you, it was also fairly warm, just like human breath when it's travelled a foot or so through the air.
And why couldn't that be caused by a dodgy nerve ending, or similar sensory glitch. I really don't see the big mystery here. It wasn't a draught.
You don't know that. You have no real idea what it was. So you've invented something to explain it.It wasn't a draught.
Your imagination is good. Your logic, bad.

Good one.
I was being serious There is a B&Q nearby these days, and people working there at night, stocking up, have been having fag breaks out the back and have heard a steam train. There have been a few accounts of this.
Now, I always thought that structures such as houses and tunnels in this case could possibly store noise over time, and occasionally will release that sound, or something like that.
There was a structural engineer on the previous thread (the Paranormal experiences one), who disagreed with this though.
Is there a theme park local?
What puzzles me is that, these phenomena appear to break the laws of thermodynamics, these have been shown to be inviolate over the last few hundred years, so much so, they are termed laws. Many people have devoted years to find ways of cheating these. No-one has managed it yet.
Prove this stuff exists and you would possibly be the most famous person ever.
It does mystify me that people are all to willing to dupe themselves into thinking that something they cant explain MUST be supernatural in origin, often without actually thinking it through. But I suppose there is money to be made by many in promulgating this stuff.

Train noise is probably just wind against the trees/tunnel. The human brain is very good at pattern recognition so we'll often see or hear things that aren't there by spotting a pattern in amongst the noise. It's an evolutionary thing, it's better to occasionally think you saw a tiger when there's not one there, that to not see it when there is.

Good post, and the nearest theme park is around 40 miles away. What puzzles me is that, these phenomena appear to break the laws of thermodynamics, these have been shown to be inviolate over the last few hundred years, so much so, they are termed laws. House storing sounds?
I mean brickwork/structures in general.House storing sounds?
This reminds me of this fella on Nationwide that could jump on eggs. And walk on water. Cringinly bad.
Right, house as a huge tape recorder. Easy to replicate then, how is this done? Many of use can repeat this and prove it for you.
