Woo! Chinese delivery day.

I expected some ropey AirPods but it was in fact some microfibre cloths I ordered ages ago.

The wife is getting suspicious when Chinese packages drop through the door.

Woo! Chinese package delivery day 2 in a row!

I'm not at home but hear they are my air pods.

That's the only thing you'll hear.

Not exactly cheap or tat but it is from the far east and looks like a lot of fun.

That needs its own build thread over in the models forum! I'd love to see that go together!

The wife has finally cracked. She’s growing concerned of the number of packages and small amounts of cash leaving the accounts.

She has written a strongly worded WhatsApp to tell me to pack it in. In my view that’s just a warning and I’m still firmly applying the forgiveness / permission formula.

Toothpick crossbow, dodgy magnets and a knife than I will be astounded clears customs are on their way.

Finally getting on the bandwagon. Thought i'd build a Heatermeter (see another thread somewhere else) as a cheap way of using up a Raspberry Pi I had lying around.

Cheap was somewhat of a mistake - the RPi I had isn't compatible and the recommended temperature probes are GBP 60 for 3.

Or, $18.99 on AliExpress with some reasonably favorable reviews. Whether they will actually measure temperature or not remains to be seen....anyway it's "been shipped", so let's see.

Just came on to update.

I can’t get them both to make sound at the same time? Also they pair individually?

Do I need to start again and pair the, when they are still in their wee box?

they were so good we actually got two sets. im probably gonna stick the others on ebay or fb marketplace. but im not sure what fb marketplace is like for stuff like this. i can imagine people turning their noses up because its not a brand they recognise. would definitely recommend them for the price, i certainly felt value from them

they dont necesarily pair individually, but one pairs with the phone and the other pairs with the other earbud. i guess its technically pairing individually!

pretty sure when theyre in the box, theyll be charging. so power is off, connection is terminated and any time you take it out, theyd have to pair up again

Loads of useful stuff on Facebook pops up, I bought this thing that has loads of plastic bits that you press round a shape to make a template, not used it yet but its a great toy and may well be useful, also ordered a little bench polisher for like £20, thats on its way apparently.
Bench Polisher sander thing not arrived yet, the belts arrived but nothing else, have emailed them a couple of times no reply this time, first emails they said its on its way but will take a while due to high demand...
