I had one I hoped would turn out all manly and cool. I had a big cut and burn down my right cheek from the bottom of my ear to just before the corner of my mouth from falling down the stairs when I was pissed but It it's healed over into a pink line that looks like lipstick with a deeper cut through it. frown

A friend of my fathers beats you all hands down I suspect.

Fairly well off bloke, moved to LA, opened a nightclub and met a girl. Said girl had a psycho ex boyfriend. One day he turns up at their house. With an axe. Then proceeds to bury said axe into my fathers friends skull. Amazingly he lived.
Useless story without pics...

I have a wound on my left cheek where I was stabbed in the face. I would like to lie and tell you I recieved the wound whilst diving in to save some women and children but I'll be honest; I tripped over a drawer on the floor (which was being sorted through) when I was little whilst holding a steak knife. The reason I tripped was because I was walking backwards whilst wielding the knife and threatening to attack my Mother (psycho child) for some reason or another.

I'd like to add that I would never harm my Mother, I was just a little annoyed.

Clearly there are no photos, I think my Mam was thinking more about my cheek than "Oh look, what a great photograph this will make".

Nolar Dog, your story is disturbing (to look at), painful and yet intriguing.

Timmy, yes mate mine was from a shoulder injury (I started the thread, pics on page one!).

By the way, I was given the all clear by the doctor today to live a normal life. My operation was a complete success, as was the physio and so it's back to the gym!

woohoo

Go on... I will bite, WTF happened to you?
Mountain bike accident in wales, I came off on a boardwalk section. Hit the board with my face and snapped a 4inch thick plank in two! also split the chicken wire which is what did the damage. I was winched off the mountain to hospital. that was quite cool smile Circa 45 stitches later and i was back together!

Nope, genuine pictures. It started to grow and it just kept getting bigger, thought it might stop, but it didnt. Annoying.

And there i was thinking i had some good ones, especially from where they removed my adrenal glands, or the one where they removed a tumour from my pituitary gland. Or failing that, the one i got from the head of a rusty nail in my fence yesterday, which resulted in one tetanus jab, and half a doxzen stitches to close the wound, but after seeing those last picks about a bone growth removal, mine are just little scratches in comparison!!!

My right eye.

I had pioneering surgery in the late Eighties to remove a Congenital Cataract (I was 10 years old and nearly blind in that eye) which involved taking the old lens out and replacing it with an artificial implant. Fast forward 7 years and complications meant that most of my pupil had been cut out and was now a jagged mess of scar tissue that won't dilate, the lens implant is not in the correct place, I have 5 buckles keeping my torn and detached retna attached to the back of my eye and I have a stent in the top of my eye where it collapsed.

Unsuprisingly, I left the Cataract alone in my left eye until 2004. Fortunately, advances in the procedure meant that it was far less invasive and was a total sucess (touch wood).
