That is fantastic, I went on Google and had a look, lovely little set up there, it must be fascinating volunteering there!!!
Yep we have some great Cold War aircraft there. I am in the process of restoring an AA gun that was located at Scapa Flow and then the Thames. Next big job is paint the underside of the Vulcan, looking forward to that
It's a crying shame that the Vulcans can no longer fly, I saw one at Farnborough Air show a few years ago, one of the most mesmerising sights and sounds ever!!!

Not forgetting this favourite of the late Sir Terry:

Thankyou for bringing that seminal classic to our attention, witteringon dear boy!

Listening to that brought back such happy memories and tears running down my leg.
Wonderful bow

The music video that changed the landscape of the world of the wax cylinder.

I saw one fly in their last year of displays, I was out giving passenger rides in the Atom at Carfest, stuck in a traffic jam when one flew low overhead, lifted its nose so that all four engines were pointed right at us and powered up. Fabulous sight and sound that will stay with me forever.

Now then. I have just returned home after a “leisurely” cycle with GF. 21.9 kilometres (or 1,088.642 chains, for those watching in the west wing or the library) in an equally leisurely 1 hour 27 minutes. I am pooped. It’s the first time we’ve really been out on the bicycles this year. I am just rehydrating with a rather pleasant Früli strawberry beer.

For anyone who hasn’t had a look at my “This Person Does Not Exist” thread, I think you should. Just don’t look at the horses. Although, now we’ve seen T6 Vanman’s bonce, they shouldn’t be too disturbing.

Night all.

And you know full well glenrobbo it should have read EFA, not ETA, I blame it on being late and me being tired!!
It's much cooler outside this morning, but still swelteringly hot inside!!
I'm sat at the kitchen table eating my breakfast, Alpen this morning, with the back door open, it's much nicer, as it's cooler!!!

Please tell me you’re wearing clothes.

The Idiot and I have been out to the beach. It was already showing 18°C outside temperature in the car on the way there. Too hot.

By choice - decided a couple weeks without shouldn't cause irreparable harm.
There's a selection of Aussie shiraz awaiting my return.

Good morning all.

Hot and sunny here in Estuaryland.

According to the DM the area in which Mrs WS and I live is "swanky" (probably a typo). One of the local posties has been attacked by seagulls.

We had the grandchildren for the weekend, having not seen them for about a year - hard work, but mostly fun.

Grass cutting today but then beer and finishing an Ian Rankin book. We won't be going to the seafront as it will be infested with the great unwashed.

That's all for now.

Mood Gorning Awl! wavey

Gout? frown That's bloody painful, paua.
I've been told Yuri Casid caused it. I think he is one of those dodgy Albanians in the blacked-out Range Rovers that bring the Usbeki Absinthe to Battert at the airfield clandestine rendezvouses.
But really, it's the body's way of telling you that you should get out more. Try drinking lots of water every day, elevating your legs, and wiggling your toes a lot. It worked for me.

It's another fine day here oop norf, the snow is starting to melt, and breakfast is imminent:
Scramboiled eggs and beercan. And a piping hot glass of chilled orange juice. lick
And some terst off course. ( Call it misguided if you will.)

Whatever you do, don't go swimming with Algy. He's toxic.
C U L8er. wavey
