A week ago it was heavy snow, then a force 11 storm (84mph gust here, blew a van off the road), then 7" of rain in 48 hours - and today, Spring has arrived in the NW Highlands. Funny old month, March:

As a final word, perhaps. The Met Office are now suggesting that Climate change could give the UK far colder winters.

So, next year should be a doozy!

That's no good, the met office always get it wrong, prepare for a wet winter.

Edit to add I bet the met office has failed to programme myself getting a 4x4 into their models.

We're expecting snow overnight.

A couple of years back we were sledging first week in April having paddled on Whitby beach last week of March!

I'd heard that based on statistics the UK is more likely to get snow over Easter than on Christmas day!

We got 20cm or so of new powder last night. When checking the snow pack to understand how the avalanche risk is developing there is still over 1m+ which is nice! Not bad to put the skis on and have these views and then have fresh powder to ski down after work!

Junk science. It's just another scare story - climate change fantasists/fanatics using proxies and models and ignoring real data from the real world which contradicts their message of doom.
