Mine is timid in comparison to some of the wounds on here! I sustained the below whilst mountain biking, which was supposed to be a 30 minute ride before a mate's 21st Birthday. I happened to take on a fallen log at quite some speed, but didn't manage to duck low enough, even though I got my arse over and as close to the rear wheel as possible ... The log won.

I went down hard, got back up and brushed myself off. Only then did I realise that most of my t-shirt, a small part of my jeans, all my trainers and the front end of my bike was covered in blood hehe

Whilst at the side of the road 4 people went by in cars. Only one stopped to see if I needed help - Cheers thumbup

A few stitches later and I made it to my mate's party, albeit a little light headed! smile

ETA: Edited to add image, because that was the idea!

The other ear is equally as wierd looking, the rest of me is extremely handsome to make up for it though rolleyes

I also have a pretty impressive scar on my scrotum, but I don't think PH is ready for pictures of that one.

It's alright. Tuck the old man up out of the way and it'll just look like a wounded baby mole anyway hehe

Ironically, I have three helmets; a 661 pisspot, a Giro E2 XC helmet and a Troy Lee Designs D2 fullface smile It was supposed to be a quick ride, so I didn't bother with a helmet. That quick ride resulted in 6 hours of waiting in A&E! Not cool.

Brothers foot.
crawled into a bidet when he was under a year old and turned on the hot tap. his leg is now one big scar, not much of it is normal skin.

this is his latest operation so he could wear flip flops, as before he didnt have any toes.

ahhhhh thats nothing,
hes 18 now and has had about 2 operations a year to get it like that. when he was 9/10 it was seriously rough. now its pretty tame!

the next one is to release some of the scar tissue by his knee to improve his rugby, he already plays (like me) to a high standard but this would help alot with his speed.

woo, bit of a thread resurrection. Had the rather long noil taken out of my thigh on last thursday and a combination of them ragging me around and dressing have led to a nice textured bruise

edity: its at top outside of thigh where they can get to top of femur. They put a honey comb type fo dressing on and combined with it bleeding lots I think its pushed the blood intot the hollows of the dressing hence pattern and texture

why thank you, its a bit of an impediment to my job hunt unfortunatly and they've managed to damaged the bone a bit in the process of removing the nail so no training for a while.

they wouldn't give me the nail back as its an infection risk apparently so they gave me another one which was nice of them
