''She cannae take anymore Captain!''

Fear ye not dear peqoud, i unplugged it before posting!! yes

On a more somber note, i've just seen some of the footage of the utter devastation around the Nurburgring area in Germany, truly heartbreaking.

I am shedding all my collection due to the immertant/immergnat/immanent ale strom/srorm/storm which, if it comes to pass, will pummal/pumall/pummel the paintwork and indenture the bodywork!
My sister sent these pics after the alestorm in Norf Essexland this afternoon/evening:

20 minute storm of oodge alestones 2cm dia have shredded the carport roof, the outer layer of their conservatory roof, and planished both cars outside on the drive. The trees at the rear were shredded of foliage and the flowers in the garden destroyed.

Not as bad as the floods on the continent, but quite an unwelcome experience nonetheless.

IOTN, I forgot to draw the curtains in my bedroom this afternoon, so the sun has been beaming through the windows for hours.
I just went in there to get something, and it's like a bloody oven!!!.
I have just measured the temp, and it's 33°C. Phew!

Awaiting third ( normally unscheduled ) test, due to close contact on bus. Weather's a bit grey.

I lived for while in Cologne, have spent a little time in the flood areas. Have friends in the Eifel region.

Page Two save.

At least my Sister & Bro-in-Law are safe & sound and their home is watertight and still standing.
My heart goes out to the flood victims who have lost everything as well as loved ones. Some are still missing. That must be awful.

Goodnight Trivialites. wavey

By gum, my bedroom's still a hot place to be.

Morning chaps wavey
We left the fans running from about 3.30 yesterday afternoon and all through the night, and it made a huge difference to the temperature in the bedroom, actually got a decent night's sleep!!
Debating taking a fan down the flat as I have no idea how long I'm going to be there!!!

In my experience fans tend to be doting rather than useful in any way. Take one or two of those who identify as supporters instead of fans as they may be more practically minded.

Both excellent and sage advice as always your Dickyness!! bow

Seeing as there is absolutely nothing left in the flat, I filled my venerable Trivel Mug with freshly brewed coffee to take with me!!

Sadly my exuberant driving getting here was just too much for it, and it deposited its entire contents into the bag it was in, sort of luckily my book seems to have absorbed the majority of it!!! frown

:sigh: Tell me, Bobbers, why did Ford's designers decide that cupholders would be a good addition to their ( i before e. scratchchin No, wait a minute.. confused) range of equipment, fixtures and fittings??? Hmm?

Good morning all you sweaty peeps. wavey

You can’t blame Bobbers, Ford may have fitted cup holders but they have not fitted Trivel Mug holders.

P.s. tell us about the red trike please.

That's true, oh Wise One. But a Trivel Mug does interface quite successfully with the central console cupholders in my C-Ma_

The red trike belongs to my Bro-in-Law.
It is a Grinnall Scorpion, powered by a 1000cc BMW by kengine.
It is fairly rapid.
He previously had a silver one which went from 60 to total destruction in a matter of minutes.
It was presumably due to the dreaded bioethanol degrading the main fuel supply hose. yikes He was very lucky to escape unscathed. frown

That scorpion must be a riot to drive, bet it puts a grin on the face.

Glad he wasn’t injured by the fire in the previous one.

You use your Trivel Mug?

This was never the intention. Exhibition only. I'll find a copy of the original documentation.
