Probably not that "council". Although I guess they do live in public housing...

Personally, I don't regard this as council - just tossers who think they're being funny.

"Council" dog of choice has changed quite a bit in recent times. Gone are the days of Rotties called Lennox and Staffies called Tyson.

My experience (calling at doors with Chinese takeaways) is a move towards smaller breeds, particularly French Pugs. They seem a pretty friendly type, and a lot less likely to savage my face.

The girl lusting after the A5 should take note. Chihuahua is sooooo passe.
I think you may be getting the Pug and the French Bulldog mixed up.

On one gatepost a picture of a dangerous dog with 'I Live Here' attached.
On the other gatepost a '24 hour cctv in operation' notice.

Can they make out the difference between public housing and a public house? Or are they interchangeable? Or is one singular and the other plural?

I used to deliver to a house which had a photo of a Rottie and the message "I'm Dre - I can get from here to the gate in 3 seconds. Can you?". Wasn't a council house, but a private 3-bed semi. Mind you, there's the age-old saying "you can take the man out of the estate, but you can't take the estate out of the man".

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3084999/Mo... - its no surprise that the parents of a Kai and a Braydon are displaying shocking parenting skills, and a lack of judgement in allowing that article to be written in the first place.

I'm shocked at the shoddy journalism from the Daily Mail.

Of course it's a council house so no need to assess its value, but what about his watch timepiece...?

When those kids are older, whenever they get googled people will see photos of them all fat and in bed with their mum. I doubt that will ever look good. hehe

A caravan parked at your house, if visible from the road or (especially) from neighbours' houses, is certainly 'council'. Common!

Away an' bile yer heid! tongue out
In my previous location, two neighbours fell out big time when one bought a caravan and parked it in the driveway.

They refused to communicate with each other, and the previous friendly relationship turned sour.

Eventually the 'wronged' party moved as a point of principle.
Well I checked with my neighbours before we bought one and we're still best of friends. So na-na-na-na-na!

My mate "stored" his caravan on his drive, he sold his house last year for just under a £million.
