well when you say scum the worrying thing is they sound like middle class entitled little spoilt pricks. Almost more important to give them a dose of authority for once, than it is for street n'er do wells...

I would be shocked to see something like this from "street n'er do wells" as you put it. They generally have enough experience with the police to know that it's not a good idea to square up to them or kick them when they're down. Really strange behavior from the teenagers IMO, it's like they thought they were in the right.

it's behaviour more than likely inspired by watching videos the how the police in america treat black people, being as the internet is full of that stuff and that's all kids that age do now. Between them they probably have zero experience of the police and just assumed they were going to get beaten up or 'framed'.... except they did kind of get beaten up.
