Anyone use after shaves with pheromones added?
I’ve a mate who does and I’m thinking “wtf” is it like Benny Hill being chased by lovelies even though you’re a 5ft hob goblin?
Ahhhh... memories of Joop! Homme (the red one) circa 1998-2005!

It was an utter, utter magnet, many young ladies seemed to go nuts for the stuff. I don't think it had pheromones in it, but it had something akin to the attraction properties of special brew to a transient!

I recall it being overly-sickly-sweet but yes, for some reason it was like olfactory catnip to a lot of women at the time...

Just shows how individual and personal fragrances are! I still have a Joop in my collection (Homme Wild).

However, I've just ordered some Armaf CDN to try courtesy of this thread!

I genuinely can't recall if I've tried Terre d'Hermes. You guys all seem to love it and the notes look right up my street - but I don't want to buy it if I've already had a sample and decided it wasn't for me...

Today I was wearing Boss "The Scent Absolute" EdP.

Defo a more mature fragrance imo. Quite unlike anything I already have in the collection.

Check out Notino, cheapest place I could find it: https://www.notino.co.uk/hermes/terre-dhermes-eau-...
(use the discount code 'Notino' for extra discount).

I’ve a 200ml “The scent Intense” EDP still unopened I’m looking forward to using.

Got it very cheap (think £40) at Superdrug- I think it might’ve been incorrectly priced.

anyone here bought any men's fragrance products recently from the body shop?

anything recommended to save me time?
Not fragrance but I really like their hemp hand cream and lavender pillow spray.
ok thanks, I might pick up the pillow spray. I get compliments about my current body shop buys so I might as well buy some more.

as for creed, it was good while the party lasted. women don't really give a monkeys about if aventus is crap in 2023, they just don't want you to smell unclean. lynx will do that job just as well.

but if it gives you self confidence and makes you feel good, a decent bottle of scent can give you the lift you need. and that's why creed are and will continue to do good business.

The 'nose' behind Terre d'Hermes is Jean-Claude Ellena. Also the creator of such iconic scents as Van Cleef and Arpels First, Hermes Eau d'Orange Verte, Calèche, and Frederic Malle Rose et Cuir (my favourite). All of these smell sublime on men.

Stopped by my brothers the other day and saw Acqua Di Gio Profumo sitting on his table, an edp I'd not heard of or seen until id read about it on this thread not that long ago. Turns out that was what he'd got off my dad for Christmas as appose to the lacoste i got. Without babbling i sprayed a bit, thought it was alright (have a cold and a very stuffy nose)but fast forward a bit, I've got home followed by the missus shortly after who picked up on it straight away and loved it, will have a proper smell when my nose is working properly and see about buying a bottlesmile

Picked up the parfum version of Terre d’Hermes today after trying it as a result of this thread. It’s another that reminds me (in a good way) of Aventus for some reason, but it’s also its own thing. Quite like it.

Also picked up Bvlgari Aqua - seems nice, might well be what Emirates used to have in their business class loos. Brought back a memory, anyway, and I’ve been trying to find whatever Bvlgari that is for ages.

I've got one (from ScentSamples iirc), couple of ml left. Yours if you want it?

I have quite a few different colognes and scents but if I were single, the only one I’d wear is oud from aqua di Parma- women seem to absolutely love it ( well. . Women over 40 anyway !)

This will be my next Oud purchase for sure, lovely - I currently have a lot left of my Gucci Oud Intense and the cheaper Qaeed one though so might be a while!
