West Berkshire is grey. No sign of snow, which isn’t a bad thing.

Had a bit of a flurry at the northern most point of central Berkshire today. Funyn county, innit, doesn't really have a north or south, just an east and a west.
We did have some, and what seemed like hail!

You’re right, I suppose the fact that it’s so short in height means north and south berks aren’t all that far from each other. hehe
Let's be clear, there is no East Berks, only in Colin's imaginatio (well, he didn't want to admit he lived in Slough...).

Slough will always be in Bucks to me. For some reason I'm more liberal minded when it comes to Caversham, after all it was moved into Berks 60 years before Slough got deposited there on an unwilling population. So I'm happy enough to call Caversham Berkshire or Oxfordshire. Not that Berkshire exists at all of course any more, other than in a historical sense.

If there's no East Berks, then surely there's only a Berks? What do you call the rest of it outside West Berks?

Shroedinger's County, isn't it?
Slough, Reading, Windsor & Maidenhead, Bracknell and Wokingham... All unitary authorities.

Lovely pics thumbup

Was able to sit in our back garden today when the sun was out (we have a light patio that reflects heat rather nicely).

Looks like the colder weather is back for the next week or so hope that changes after Easter as I've got a week of then.
Yep - returning for the weekend. Grrrr. Nevermind, managed to get our cabin in the garden painted this weekend. We have a heater in there - we will be using it!

Heavy snow for NE Scotland tomorrow... I'd book in for skiing if I lived up there.

Any chance of spring showing itself at any point? Still had to get the winter coat and hat out, flipping cold.
See the other thread - we may be fast-forwarding in to summer over Easter rofl

Is that big storm currently out in the Atlantic heading our way?
It looks rather intense.

It will head our way but fill out, bringing some moderate southerly winds - and warmth. Then high pressure for Easter.

Over to the other thread - this one cannot last much longer!
