Same as lifeboats, a bloody disgrace really.
This has always puzzled me - considering we're an island nation you'd think that marine safety would be a big thing! Not sure why the Navy or Coastguard doesn't get involved...

We’ve had a massive lull in people knocking on our door - either that or the regular offenders have a list of those who don’t answer and therefore dont waste their time and spend more on ‘easy pickings’

Hopefully it stays this way!

I saw a car crash yesterday. A timely reminder why some people don’t leave the house.

I hardly think one incident in amongst millions of doors being answered without incident is proof of anything.

It wasn't intended to be 'proof of anything'. I thought it might be of general interest, seemingly not to some people.

Have a good afternoon.

My apologies if I misread your intentions with that post.

A thread like this forces you to assume that most links are posted by the loonies attempting to provide proof that opening a front door is simply madness.

I see these you aren't one of those.

Tbf, it was posted as ‘a timely reminder why...etc’ so you could be more than forgiven for assuming it was posted to explain why some people don’t answer the door!
