Interpret this carefully. Putting physical things somewhere safe is one thing and fine, concealing assets from the courts during the financial settlement is very much not. A friend of mine thought he was being clever doing this during his divorce, got found out and is now having to very painfully liquidate assets in order to write a court ordered cheque for a very substantial seven figure sum to his ex-wife.

[some cases, quite serious warnings were given.

I’m leaning towards the opinion that many men know the woman has the tendency to be like this, but “love” and a ready supply of horizontal jogging/great norks/OXO action makes one blind to any possible storms that lay ahead.

Forgive me but what's OXO Action ? No doubt a dumb question but maybe im dumb !

"Led Zeppelin updated many classic blues songs to make their sound - When the Levee Breaks is a Memphis Minnie song from 1929, and the band included two Willie Dixon songs on their first album: You Shook Me and I Can’t Quit You Baby.

In fact the song Whole Lotta Love where the line “I’m a Back Door Man” is used is largely derived from another Willie Dixon tune, You Need Love:"
PH folklore - 'take her up the OXO tower'

figure it out for yourself from here smile

Think i get the idea now :-)

Back on topic....

Mate of mine (52) has just left his wife and kids for a 23yr old..

As you can imagine that's gone down well and he is looking for social acceptance from all the friends. It ain't happening.

Meanwhile his wife has already filed for the divorce (well you would i suppose) and intends to give him some 'OXO Action' of his own.

As you can imagine his teenage kids aren't best pleased either....

Some people are fking idiots where women are concerned; that's a classic case of being matized. Bet the youngster is gone within a couple of years, having fleeced him for whatever she can. I presume he's wealthy(ish)?

Jesus, that's quite the whammer.

I presume though delving into human nature you may love the general companionship from your family but maybe does not meet the sexual requirements when you have a wife who's had a few kids and may have let herself go and doesn't want to have sex anyway .

So surely in these scenarios an open relationship would be more beneficial to everyone? Where you can have sex with other people . It is very odd I know but I'm just thinking that maybe that may help in the long term.

On a related note however unless your friend is going through absolute hell with his Wife and just not saying anything , there must be something wrong with him!

To quote the late Robin Williams, men have a brain and a penis, but only enough blood to run one at a time.

He was but no longer as not worked for a long time.

Had it all planned out to sell up and downsize and head further into the sticks then 'bang' he goes and does that.

The wife has already stashed some cash and will get half his pension and over half the house as still has a kid living at home.
Then there is her living expenses for the next 3 years till the youngest turns 18.

We all know it wont last as the 23yr old will only take the balance of what cash he has left but hes burnt all bridges now.

Aside from what hes done to his family and the embarrassment hes called them i think there is something very wrong with that age difference

bloody hell he has some balls. I'm the same age and I 'm getting grief from friends and family since my current squeeze is 32. The only difference is that my marriage was well and truly done and dusted before I met her.

Don't want to put a dampener on it but I think unless the female is all grown up then I think the relationship won't last. My experience dating for most of this year kinda indicates that early thirties is where the line between woman and girl currently sits.

Yes, but if she's 'fit', then his brain went out of the window some time ago. At least he'll enjoy some young flesh before he gets hung, drawn, quartered - and forever in poverty.

I don't know what is worse in my current predicament. The talk about getting divorced, or the acting like nothing has happened days later.

She said she loves me today and was trying to hug me etc. Weird.

She did call me stoic though as I'm not going for the hugs and the love you comments. hehe

Try to maintain a cool and calm appearance, stay pleasant and polite, and don't rise to the bait.

Women hate that !!

She might not be 100% sure she wants a divorce.
Are you 100%?
If not talk about it, see if it can be rescued. It’s a massive decision, the impact of which may be heaviest for the kids involved. IMO don’t walk away unless there is no other option.

I'm sure he's having fun, but bedding someone young enough to be your daughters younger mate is kinda weird. 70/40 seems odd, but it suits Hollywood. This isn't Hollywood though, and it's not 70/40
