What are your unpopular opinions? (Vol. 2)
Discussion
any immigrant found guilty of a serious crime should be returned to their native country, after serving an appropriate sentence - fear of torture notwithstanding. By the same token if you as a British subject are found with several pounds of heroin in your luggage in Thailand (for example) tough - you can serve your sentence in the local prison...

I suspect this would be very popular with most illegal migrants too.
Chatting to a family in my local park being put up nearby, they were
saying they're bored stless.

Well, we must try better to entertain them, maybe a trip to the theatre perhaps Cats, Evita,
I hear The Winslow Boy is rather good, Ian Lavender is great as Mr. Winslow, or a trip to
the Lake District ?
Surely these criminals are better off in a nice English hotel than in a French internment camp or
a mud hut in Somalia ?

I think any asylum seeking immigrant who wants a job should be given one. Immediately upon them picking up their first pay packet UK Border Agency staff should deport the person who has been on benefits in the town where the job is the longest to Rwanda. When in Rwanda they can make their legal application to return. If they cite “Rights to family life” we should deport their partners then their kids.
If i'm reading this right, you are suggesting that should someone who has migrated to this country and wants a job, then gets a job should be allowed to stay yes?And someone who is indigenous and refuses to work, should be deported yes?
If that is the case, then i agree with your comments, there are entirely far too many work shy, lazy types claiming benefits and coming up with some rubbish excuse as to why they can't work.

Whilst that is highly amusing and one i've used before, i believe there should be a feather flying thingymabob travelling past you quite quickly sometime shortly Richard-390a0 said:
I bet most of the people sharing / commenting on the passing of Sinead O'Connor on social media couldn't name more than one of her songs (I certainly couldn't). I never thought she was all that anyhow.
Cool. Please keep us informed about other stuff that you know little about yet hold strong opinions on

TBF that wasn't aimed at you... more the objections aimed at immigrants, frequently in the same sentence, are (obviously) mutually exclusiveRichard-390a0 said:

I must confess to being less enthusiastic about her than most of the people I've seen commenting on her death. bennno said:
That intact transsexual athletes shouldn’t be in females sport and locker rooms.
I don't think they should be allowed to compete with them in the first place. The UCI has recently banned them from international cycling competitions for a (good) start.https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/uci-bans-transgen...
