..and 4 is IIII instead of IV.
There must be a message behind it all.
Time is daughters birth time which is a bit more subtle than a name/DOB in my opinion. There must be a message behind it all.
The clock is angled like that to get some depth on it. If you just have it flat then it's looks well flat! That's my understanding of it. When I get on the iPad I will put a picture up of a similar piece with a flat clock to show you what I mean.
Another full day yet so I will put complete piece up when it's done.

This is what I mean about it looking a bit flat.

The photo does spoils the surprise of how the tat is going to finished though.
How do they create the image of the tat already on your chest like that?

I see what you mean. The angled clock looks a lot better.

Sorry for spoiling the surprise. Mine will be different slightly but the theme is generally the same. I thought of some bits to add at the bottom but I won't say!The photo does spoils the surprise of how the tat is going to finished though.

The clock was put on with a stencil and each Rose was put on one by one with a different stencil . Is that what you meant?

I think that they thought that it was you chest with an image of the final tattoo imposed on it.The clock was put on with a stencil and each Rose was put on one by one with a different stencil . Is that what you meant?
I like to see a nice tattoo but am not interested in any of my own really. That said I have often wondered why an artist with an IT savvy mate has not yet got round to putting together a programme that would allow the intended image to me 'shopped' onto a picture of the canvas so that the owner can see what it will look like and they and the artist can make any changes that occur to them with that image in front of them before putting needle to skin.

I've looked long and hard at this piece, tell me why, and where did the pocket watches springs/cogs and bridge work go ?You can't just rub it out, can you ?
Please don't hate me, but I prefered the piece when it was unfinished, I know, I just did.
PS. Stop calling it a clock, it is a pocket watch.
PPS. I know nowt about nowt.
That tattoo was an inspiration for mine but I was illustrating why my timepiece was on an angle as oppose to flat.

The quality of the tattoo looks good - but the choice of design sucks I think really. I think he's going to regret that one later!
The design of these things is the whole point in having them I think. This has a lot of things in it that mean a lot to him, music, his favorite saying etc etc.
Sounds like you are a wee bit jealous honestly.
