That female newspaper columnists never tire of telling us about their or other women's
fannies, foo foos, floops or minges, Camilla Long, Janice Turner, Deborah Ross and especially Caitlin Moran.

Paltrow's vagina candle hasn't helped at all, it has invigorated them all to tell us stuff we don't really want to know about, unwaxed, ugly and unfragrant front gardens.

Desist and demur, no-one is interested in your gashes, keep it in your pants eh ?

The problem with today's 'woke' is it implies those who don't share the woke brigade's social awareness and virtuosity are in some way lagging. In itself it is assumptive and patronising to sections of society whilst at the same time offers overtones of smugness and hubris to those that consider themselves so attributed.

You don't need to be 'woke' to be considerate to other people.
Woke?

Woke Brigade?

That's a new one on me. confused

Does the New Model Army also have a Bloman Brigade?

What a load of bollix! rolleyes

I may be a tad intolerant, but I'm fed up with all this st being shoved down my throat. grumpy

Have we had the little bit of paper tape with an arrow on that they wrap around tin foil?

It's always on in a way that if you follow the arrow you tear the foil, go the opposite way and all is well.

Afua Hirsch - regular on sky news and other programmes. Everything to her is racist or prejudiced, and manages to make almost any subject into one about race.

May I, in an inquisitive way, ask why one would want to see inside a bin bag? confused

just like to re- add the band, "The lighthouse family", because I haven't mentioned them for a while.

and virtually everyone ever, ringing in to speak on the radio. especially people "shouting out" on popmaster to "all who know me".

we don't care, we just want to play the quiz as we drive along. I don't care you've been operating a lathe for 30 years and yr wife is called cindy and you've a dog and you support the football.................................

I have tried to get this post in English, but the 'translate' function doesn't recognise the language.

Can anyone help me?

Does anyone have any idea at all what he is talking about?

Struggling to see much wrong with it, to be fair. austinsmirk is annoyed by:

  • The Lighthouse Family - the band, not a family living in a Lighthouse, or with the surname "Lighthouse".
  • People who phone into radio stations and give more information that austinsmirk wishes to hear.
  • The full stop key on their keyboard, which is obviously stuck down.

People on the train who sit with their backside near the front of the seat.

This 'low rider' positioning means even less leg space for the person opposite. It's normally blokes who do this but had a woman sit opposite me this week who couldn't seem to work out how we both didn't fit in the allotted space despite her sitting almost horizontally.

Oh!

I see!

Thank you very much droopsnoot. I think I have now grasped the import of austinsmirk's post.

Thanks again.

I hate this as the next step if they are sitting behind someone is to raise their knees so they are poking their knees into the back of the chair in front. It is surprising how much of that you can feel transmitted directly to your back.

Also annoys me short girls rushing to sit in the premier seats when they don't need extra legroom.
