Battert misunderstood as well. For reasons I don't begin to understand, he believes the Wolf Whistle Ban is coming into force at midnight tonight and with it, inevitably, the closure of one of his favourite establishments. It will take me six minutes to walk there, so the TTAVPU (A for Anniversary) will commence at 1700 hours BST. 1600 Zulu.

Another honour for our long term mentor, DickyC, for longevity of post, 40k is quite some achievement (i b4 e) so, as I imagine the Lounge Bar is filling up with members, old and new, I would suggest a postponement of the usual TTFNQ is in order?

I wait for ages, but nothing happens, so I go to make my dinner, and Dicky swiftly nips in with his crucial 40,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000th post, then buggers off to the Whistling Wolf with Battert!

Never mind, I shall pour my TT Anniversary Ale now, and raise my glass to salute Dicky's courage and endurance, relentless pursuit of Trivia, stamina, never-say-Dai attitude, and his otherwise excellent attendance record.

Peppered slices of canard,red peppers,spring onions and stuff along with a crispy noodle concoction. Oh and green haricot beans.
Very nice cooked by my fair wife with magoo assistance.
Agent M thought the canard peppered was a bit spicy but still downed her little bits given.
The Aspirin fizz hand bath has been had by madam whilst talking to big V in North Norfolk.
I'm feeling a bit down if I'm honest,but can't put my finger on it yet.
I've had a beer and a couple of rose's but still not feeling it.
Why no quiz?
