Still got that fresh ink smell.
First bit of a full sleeve on my forearm. I'm a big fan of tradition stuff, especially sailor jerry.
Crap photos but I'm happy. Appreciate the traditional stuff isn't to everyone's tastes but I'm pleased as punch.
I love the old style stuff, might get some on my chest some day, old fashion swallows and hearts and stuff, heavy border, bright solid colours, no fancy shading etc. First bit of a full sleeve on my forearm. I'm a big fan of tradition stuff, especially sailor jerry.

Showed this pic to my wife who said it was a beautiful tattoo but thought it was a girl and covered her boobs - her words. Have to say it looks like a bra to me too. Some lovely artwork, but it is definitely bra-like.
To be fair my initial reaction was - that's very NSFW!Took me a little while to work out it was a bloke's chest.
I think its the shading or the angle of the photo - it gives a 3D effect at the base. I'm sure its not like that in reality, at least for your sake OP I hope not!

On a practical solution level, i.e. what to do about it, probably extending the piece upwards and down the torso would lessen the bra effect. Certainly it needs not to follow the lines of the pecs as it does currently.
An alternative might be to have some knickers tattooed on as well.

I am sure this all seems very cruel, given that the chap has had an indelible picture carved with dye into his skin using a needle.
Surely posting a photo of something on a forum is likely to result in debate one way or the other. That's kinda the point of a forum. If the dude wants an ego wk from posting his picture, I suggest he's probably come to the wrong place.By the sounds of thinks he's happy with what he's had done (regardless of whether it's bra like or otherwise). It's not what I (or obviously a number of other posters) would have done, but that's not the point.
I don't think that saying you're not keen on something is cruel when the whole point is to have discussion.

I would try and man it up myself, maybe have an elephants head tattooed around the midriff - With a bit of imagination it could look quite effective with a 3D element to it.

I wasn't trying to be cruel! On a practical solution level, i.e. what to do about it, probably extending the piece upwards and down the torso would lessen the bra effect. Certainly it needs not to follow the lines of the pecs as it does currently.

But I really do regret having cracked one out to it before realising it was a man's chest and not boobs.

Don't be ashamed, an easy mistake to make. If he went for the matching knickers tattoo you could be forgiven for doing it again even with the knowledge you now have.
Thanks for your kind comments - makes me feel a bit better about my tattoo based faux-pas. I will though just try to be more careful in future.
As I did say in my original post; I'm sure that in reality it does not look like a nice pair of boobs. Almost definitely, probably.
