Pubs could reopen with indoor service here yesterday. I passed one on my cycle route. There were a good 30 people in there at lunchtime.

They are super diligent with the cleaning. If the circulating staff spot an empty glass or any sort of spill, they are on it like a tramp on chips. It means getting a drink is easy, and there’s no sticky tables. That’s a win / win.

To be fair half the people in my local spend the day covered in cow st, I think q virus is the last of their worries
