Chaps, quick question - just received the 16340 protected batteries for my incoming billet box, along with a trustfire charger.

Plugged it in with a couple of batteries loaded, and it's making a weird high pitched sound, quite feint, but noticeable.

Been on for 20 minutes next to me (on a metal tray with a pot of playsand close by just in case) and they're not getting warm or anything, and everything 'seems' alright - but is it?!

I have a Trustfire charger that does that.

Never been a problem.

I had an old remote controlled car battery charger that used to whine. Never did anything other than work.

This has a couple of interesting reads in it.

Innokin itaste vv3 kit.

All the functionality you could need, decent atomizer, perfect starting point.

Nice tobacco flavoured liquid with a tiny drop of menthol and job jobbed.
+1
This is exactly my set up I use at home, even down to the juice mix.
Works a treat.

Right that's decided.

I'm getting an Innokin VV V3 123 ABC CREE. Anyone noticed that the Innokin logo is just the old Nokia logo with a few letters placed differently?

Jokes aside, I'm putting an order in today. I've heard the tubes (forgive the noob terminology) are prone to leaking and it's better to use your own 'tube' but I'm going for kit with the pack of 5 included to whet my appetite, and take it from there. £40 is the price I'm seeing for this kit on Amazon, are there any preferred sites that you guys use?

Muchos gracias for the recommendation all.

I and a few others on this thread have used http://myepack.co.uk/ who are very good

I have heard good things about http://www.ukecigstore.com/ so will be giving them a try. They also have a shop in Wembley if you are local or deperate to get something the same day.

Good shout.

The tubes leaking varies massively - I've never had an issue, others have constantly. Give em a try, cheap enough to try something else after...

Excellent, what's your thoughts on the whole idea?

Not sure I'd be happy with a random selection each month.

Tempted by vapecrate - seems a great idea if they get the execution right.

Have received an 'invite' but haven't signed up yet - waiting for vape mail to arrive first!

On that note, just received my Absolute Pin from five pawns. Haven't got anything to vape it on at the moment but it smells blooming lovely.

Get yourself a dripper. These are ok for trying flavours out, just bin the silca as it burns and use cotton instead wink

Much better drippers available though bit these are ok for the price

Well, I've tried the 100% VG and I can report that it's about as rewarding as that moment when you suck on a thick milkshake and nothing comes out irked Back to the 70/30 for me...

I'm on 100% VG after a reaction to the PG and it takes a bit of getting used to. One of my favourite flavours really doesn't work in VG, while others have come into their own (currently on a ripe banana flavour). The flavourings are PG so even 100% VG will have a bit of the other.

Having said that, Paradise Vape are out of the ripe banana, so if anyone knows of a nice one (VG) please let me know.

I'm the same with PG (possibly), I like the idea of VG but it's such a heavy draw my battery keeps blinking before I'm satisfied irked

I'm starting some DIY mixing next week. Any tips/advice welcome as the DIY thing is new to me! Doesn't look as straightforward as I first thought but I'll have a go smile

Gonna make up a couple different custards and let them steep 3-4 weeks smile
