What's the scoop? My basic phone forecast has next week looking okay (for the SE of England).

If you consider 2 or 3 degrees warmer overnight and daytime max's than this week as "OK", fair enough wink

NOT going to be BBQ in shorts and T weather though, unless you're setting out to make some sort of statement.

There is a 50/50 threat of another northerly in around a weeks time.

Dry remains the form horse whatever the outcome, but the high might align to give us another cool blast.

I have a pub meal booked next Friday, I am not happy....

I seem to remember saying this last year, but we've had no rain here in W.Yorks for about a month now.
Great for drying out the firewood, but the borders in the garden are actually cracking.
Cactus (under glass) are happy enough as it's like their natural environment with warm sunny days, cold nights and little water.

It reminds me of Austria and Switzerland on the Alps in Winter, can't complain as it's good to see so much sun.

We got a good 12cm in the back; it actually settled a lot more than I thought it would.

Another 4" dropped over night in Colorado. My colleague thinks several of the ski resorts will be open and have snow until June.

For us, there's more forecast for later in the week.

We didn't get that much up here compared to where you are. It looks like snow for most of the day here tomorrow however. I need to find somewhere dry to work!

I need to get my sodding roof inspected for the third time before it snows again; insurance are being a bit of an arse about it.

Old and worn out. Got a known leak; looking to get it replaced under insurance.

Covid means the insurance people have to use a third party assessor, a large part of the delay

Tomorrow would be the roofers third visit, his first, and hopefully the last before they agree to pay out and fix the damn thing.

And it snowed an inch overnight. Largely cleared off the roof, but not enough. What with the snow flurries forecast for today and the thunderstorm due Friday, it's been pushed back to Saturday. When it'll be 24C. The weather in this place....

And it snowed again. Still is. Not settling much, but it was 27c last weekend and it'll be 29c this weekend.

It dumped up here in Summit yesterday afternoon, which resulted in the interstate being shut down as people somehow forgot how to drive in wet snow.
