Are they Nike ID ones?
No they’re a regular design available from Nike direct. There’s also a white/cream version.
Those are lovely..... pops off to the Nike site.
Cheers. And delivered.

I would've done actually but I'm abroad at the time.

Shame. Looks decent.

Yeah - I like the React Elements 55's or 87's. I'll get some eventually.

Right lads, I'm looking for some inspiration here. I am crap at trainer shopping and looking for some suggestions please. My criteria for a new pair of trainers are:

Up to the £100 mark.
Smart enough for wearing in the office on dress down Friday with jeans (I like Samba/Gazelles but want something 'smarter'.
Casual enough to wear with tailored shorts.
Something along the lines of Adidas Night Jogger (without the shiny reflective fabric).
Nothing neon or all white.
Don't particularly like Cortez.
40 years old so nothing too 'trendy'.
Comfy.

I just can't find anything that ticks all the boxes, any suggestions from the community please?

You mentioned Nite Joggers and trousers.

I can't see that working.

How smart do you need them to be?

Adidas BW Army are my usual smart trainers.

I refuse to wear smart trainers from the likes of Boss, Armani, Prada and the like.

More with jeans I should have said, for dress down Friday in the office.

Can't stand the Boss, Armani etc.

So you're looking for something fairly minimal? Leather or suede?

If suede is ok then the Gola Harrier in graphite is pretty subtle. I find them incredibly comfortable and they are wearing well too.

Maybe some Walsh, for a left field choice.

Happy Birthday.

Do they live up to the hype? Are they comfortable?

Thanks.

Yes they live up to the hype imo. I loved the look of them as soon I saw them and the little nod to Back to the Future added to the appeal.

Comfort wise they are very snug to get on but there is plenty of space for your toes which always is a worry of mine when buying trainers. They are pretty light all things considering and on feet they are fine, no complaints so far. Haven’t played with the app yet either.

Looking at your first pic...

Do Yeezys have a brown bit on the heel nowadays?

Not noticed that before.

They have a gum sole on the sesames rather than the usual white outsole. One thing less for me to worry about getting too dirty boxedin
