Unfunny Comedians
Discussion
Whilst I reach for the remote control when I see RJ appear as a comedian, I think I did once see her on Casualty playing the part of a woman with cerebral palsy having her baby took from her, and I recall her playing the part really well. But how many roles are there out there for female actors with cerebral palsy?
Lee Mack and his “steadings” 9 letter word on the comedy version of countdown and his subsequent banter are the kind of things I watch panel shows for.

If people like Rosie Jones delivery etc, that’s great, but I like quick fire humour and I have stopped watching a lot of shows as they seem to be going downhill which is no fault or Rosie Jones herself, they’re just not the kind of show they used to be anymore.

That makes sense - the people that dont enjoy her can simply not watch. Everyone's a winner.
Apart from the producers awaiting impressive viewer numbers from their posh new game show I'd expect. 1) Number of views on transmission date. The old viewing figures measure, though adjusted these days by catch up figs.
2) Repeatability, as in ability to to be watched on repeat in later years by audiences on different channels and streaming services. The sort of thing, you're flicking round, spot an old episode of whatever on Dave, decide to watch that again.
3) No topicality that suffers with time, it's what got such as Mock the Week cancelled. You don't watch 10 year old recording of that. Not meeting that measure also kills number 2) above.
4) International sales potential.
Good luck. Could be a career maker or career killer for some commissioning bod.

I particularly like it when he repeats the punchline several times, so that the audience know that it’s the bit they should laugh at. Masterful.
They all do that, which is why I don’t really like any stand up comedian. H'ast tha any bisto?

Oh my God. At least every box is ticked. It's rare that I won't give a new show a chance, but this is one of those exceptions.
100% agreed. Whoever conceived that programme...welll.....wow. must have been 'let's not have any straight white able bodied English men in this one'. The proposition is dire. The appeal is zero.

Trailer.
Well that looks st. I suspect Comedy Central's viewing figures will be unusually high with PHers when the show launches.

It’s true, straight, white English dudes are terribly underrepresented in our society .The proposition is dire. The appeal is zero.

They will all be there, ticking boxes and readying their "OMG! That was terrible!" reviews for this forum.I suspect Comedy Central's viewing figures will be unusually high with PHers when the show launches.
Out of interest, how do I get to see that channel? On Amazon?
