4 days of relative warmth starts now. Hopefully you've got a garden to enjoy it in!
Reading the news it seems like it is going to be a scorcha of a few days.Any indications on the long term for this summer yet Pug?
My prediction (based solely upon my imagination) is that it is going to be a stinkingly hot summer with not enough lightning!

Indications for April and maybe May are high pressure sticks around
Of course it will, because we’re all stuck in-flipping-doors!A cat always lands on its feet
Toast always lands butter side down.
Winter tyres and it never snows.
As above, I've just taken delivery of a portable aircon unit for home, so that puts summer at extreme risk of being meh.
I therefore duly submit a gif of a buttered cat. [edit] or one with some toast taped to it.

I can also now guarantee a terrible summer now.
Yesterday I finally pressed the button on an 18,000btu portable air-con unit which is turning up tomorrow.
I fitted my wall mount unit last summer. Missed the first batch of heat as I couldn't find anyone to fit it, got it all up and running myself for the second week of heat though! Yesterday I finally pressed the button on an 18,000btu portable air-con unit which is turning up tomorrow.
Fecking bliss, sat in the lounge at 23C , outside 32C+ and horribly humid.
Random musing, I have been drinking
I don't understand how these computer models work but if they work stuff out based on previous weather patterns, is the possibility that the lack of pollution effect on the atmosphere especially as this is worldwide and completely without precedent may mess the weather modelling up for a bit?

Good question. Keep up the drinking!I don't understand how these computer models work but if they work stuff out based on previous weather patterns, is the possibility that the lack of pollution effect on the atmosphere especially as this is worldwide and completely without precedent may mess the weather modelling up for a bit?

Oof - well it won't effect the weather directly, but my well effect the climate (which in turn effects the weather).
