Oakley Sunglasses - What have you got?
Discussion
Very much like others in this thread I first saw Oakley's being advertised in MBUK in the early 90s and thought wow those are cool but at over £150 they were more expensive than my first mountain bike.
I treated myself to a pair of Eye Jackets in the late 90s which in my opinion is the classic Oakley wrap around style that is as recognisable as any Ray Ban. They were everything I expected, they felt so comfortable, very light even after hours of wearing them you never get that pinched head feeling that some glasses give you.
My original Eye Jackets sadly got too worn out and were looking a bit tired so I treated myself to some Minute 1.0s, in black/black lenses and another set of Eye Jackets but this time in blue with blue lenses which became my driving glasses for years.
Then I bought some Holbrooks , first black frames with orange reflective lenses, then some more in blue with black lenses. These are usually my "holiday" sunnies. A day at Goodwood caught me out when it started drizzly and grey but the sun came out later on, luckily there was a Oakley stand so I bought some Four Squared in black with the medium black/semi reflective finish for £55. I convinced myself that at that price I best get a couple pairs.

Had a pair of Oakley Spike Titanium’s for many years now. Good glasses although on their second pair of (aftermarket) lenses as the originals got too scratched up. Don’t wear them that often now though as they’re a little passé, and the rubber sleeves over the ear pieces are a bit tatty too. How do you get replacements for those?

Really like them. There are a few places for parts but galaxy lenses are well thought of with free worldwide postage dvs_dave said:

Oakley call them 'Ear Soxs'When I had my E Wires in the 90's, I emailed Oakley UK and they sent me a pair for free in an envelope!
I bought the e wires to wear on my Motorcycle but didn't realise they wouldn't fit while wearing a Helmet!
I wore them for 20 years and now my youngest Son (32) wears them, good value, I payed £90 Cyprus for them back then!

I really like those, are they frogskins?I had all sorts of Oakleys over the years. Your first pair reminded me on one of my earlier pairs. Bad ass blue flames!
I also had a pair of X-Juliet with blue lenses too:
I had a bunch of others that I can't even remember right now.
I needed a new pair of glasses maybe 10 years ago and I couldn't really find any Oakleys that worked for me. Eventually I ended up with some ray-bans and now wear them literally every day. I have tried to get back into the Oakley fold for a while, including buying my wife glasses, but can't find anything I like more than the ray-bans...of which I've gone through 3 of the same pairs and just got my 4th.

I have some Juliet X Metals from way back. Titanium IIRC. They are just in the box of random sunnies, didn't think they were worth more than buttons.
I have several pairs of Jawbreaker and Racing Jacket for cycling, but my go to dailies are Pitchman Rs.

This thread needs more photo's!
My well used Mainlink! This thread reminded me that I also have this pair of Fuel Cell which I use for when I’m doing jet washing or something. Warning: Graphic scratched lense warning!
The frames are decent actually so I might invest in some new lenses and give these a new life!
