Ebay non payer

First bit of sensible advice cheers. I've done this, they can pick up the parcels from where I'm working tomorrow and they will finally be gone.
Why couldn't ebay have told me this instead of telling people they don't have to pay, I only found out my post office actually shuts for lunch was when I spent half an hour outside it the other week.
They told them to pay within a specific timeframe, and they did. And as for your post office issue, that’s neither your buyers fault nor eBay.Why couldn't ebay have told me this instead of telling people they don't have to pay, I only found out my post office actually shuts for lunch was when I spent half an hour outside it the other week.

This is a classic thread in the making.
How many ways can the OP be wrong but still insist he is the injured party?
I'm not saying I'm right, I fully appreciate that's how ebay operates now its been explained, but I am saying I think its stupid how it operates and I don't like it at all, I'm of the opinion that you pay for something immediately once you have purchased it, I don't think you should have the option to give people the runaround once you say you will have it.How many ways can the OP be wrong but still insist he is the injured party?

So any apologies for calling her a bh then?
Well no because I still think she was for not saying anything about the payment for over 24 hrs, just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should. She's a bh for abiding by the rules that you don't like?
I buy plenty of times at the last moment on eBay, and because it's not convenient, foe example I bid whilst stopped at the services, then I'll pay later that evening or next day. If I bid on something on Sat evening, then what does it matter that I pay on Sunday when there's no postal system in operation?

Whether you think a buyer on this platform should pay immediately after the auction has completed is a bit meaningless. The buyer doesn't appear to have done anything wrong. You seem weirdly angry about all this. Maybe dont use ebay?

This has to be a troll, surely?
Just because I have a different opinion doesn't make me a troll. I'm just a private smuck trying to get a bit of money back for some stuff I bought a couple of years ago, I'm not a big conglomerate that can give credit out or take a big loss because someone wants to play the system, I just wanted to sell some stuff. There are plenty of times that people a bhes or tts or bds for doing everything within the rules, look at the fuel costs, oil goes down in price - fuel stays the same, oil goes up in price - fuel goes up immediately, all well within the rules but they are still tts non the less.

But they aren't "playing the system", they are following the rules. My builder will invoice me for work done with 28 days to pay. Just because i don't hand over the cash when he's sweeping up doesn't mean I'm playing the system or behaving poorly. You aren't providing credit (as you don't send the goods until you have the money) and you aren't taking any type of loss at all!

I’m not sure taking approximately 4 hours into the working week before paying is quite the exceptionally generous credit terms you seem to think it is.Look I know we now live in an age where as well as sticks and stones break bones, words do actually hurt people but come one I called someone a bh for taking her time to pay a private layman who has hardly ever sold anything on ebay. All the other half a dozen things I sold they all paid within seconds of winning the bid, it wasn't hard for them.
So my opinion is if she physically bid in the closing seconds then she is a bh for either not paying or saying straight away that there will be a payment delay or on the other hand if she wasn't present and used a sniping tool then I still think she is a bh for using the tool, from what I gather sniping is a lazy mans tools that does genuine bidders out of stuff they deserve to win who actually put the effort in to buying stuff.
