Garages now have a new scam to rip off the unwary.

If you get a 4 wheel alignment, it's the custom that if no adjustment is required then the
process is free and you get a printout of your car's alignment.

If the front end requires adjustment it's £26, if the rear also requires a tweak then it's £50.

My car was on the ramp for a suspiciously long time before the TV monitor showed it was connected
to the electronic system, then presto hey, the car required front toe adjustment [ which I expected ] but it
also showed the offside rear toe was way out. So now I'm £76 lighter.

I can't prove the rear toe was deliberately un-adjusted when the car was first on the ramp,
but I bet it was.

Just something to ponder when you visit your friendly tyre provider.
You should have used your due diligence and marked all of the adjustment bolts before hand with a paint pen.

So you have no idea if the rear was out but because you 'bet it was' then you've been ripped off and this is a nw scam that garages are using to rip people off?

God help the world

I have a degree in Common Sense from the University Of Life,
experience tells me that Garages and Scams are odious bedfellows of long standing.

Seeing as the OP isn’t proving details or responding to questions I did some digging myself. Searching eBay for sold listing for rowing machines in new-other condition doesn’t return many results. None that have been sold in the last few weeks are even remotely vague about what brand they are. I call BS.

Ours is rusty too (near the bottom), the rowing machine that is. Got it cheap and it works.
That's all the sweat that has been dripping on it over the years. Not so bad when it's your own but somebody elses............. vomit
Like a warm toilet seat.

hehe
Impulsive buy, which doesn’t gets used. But I see your point. Time to have a clear out and scrap it.

Really? Why would anyone make that up?

I really wonder why people make snarky comments like this.
