Probably not something that would mean very much to others.

Whilst working in a comms capacity for a charity, I had the idea for an interactive website to support adults with learning disabilities, something to promote communication, which was also reflective of sensory rooms and independent living workshop sessions. I took the concept, got it funded by Vodafone then got it built (from my colouring pen instructions). After it was finished it went down really well within the LD sector and I got a couple of calls from people (with LD) who thought it was just wonderful and that was really special. So I guess that's my proudest achievement.

Got a job that is actually related to what I did in College and Uni a month after Graduating, and in that process proving my parents wrong as they thought it was pointless and impossible to find a job with it (wanted me to do Engineering or similar). I nearly gave up near the end when a lot of personal stuff started going wrong and I was having major sleep problems by the last 6 months, although my OH was very supportive and that helped a lot.

I have improved a lot on confidence and self esteem issues stemmed from being bullied at school for a long time. Whilst I am still not very confident I am a hell of a lot better than I used to be(at least I can talk to people properly now). Is that even an achievement?

Actually other than that I have not achieved much, that's pretty depressing.
Suppose I am only 22 still got a lot ahead of me, unless I wake up dead tomorrow. laugh

Boring answer: family. Been married 23 years to a great lady - who still looks 25 but is 42! Have raised four kids who are smart (eldest goes to Oxford University next year) and kind and well mannered.

Also, my family has built and finance two orphanages in India which cares for 400 kids.

Only a small thing... but did a 120ft abseil for charidee today. Bearing in mind I'm terrified of heights and have as much balance as a drunken elephant in stilettos... I was quite chuffed.

Having been expelled from boarding school because I was caught doing 'night time things' with my girlfriend and being told quite loudly and in front of my year.... YOU'LL NEVER MAKE IT IN LIFE BENNETT.

a) I am a very proud Dad of 5 lovely children biggrin

b) I now own a successful business started from scratch with no funds and earn and own 'considerably more' than those who told me I was a waste of space.

I've finally managed to get the hang of these new FPS games. I was so stuck in the Goldeneye universe that when my sister came over with her fella last week to find me playing Perfect Dark, he bought me a copy of Killzone 2 for my PS3 (which has only ever had GT:5 Prologue and Ridge Racer played on it so far) and has been trying to teach me how to play it.
I just couldn't get my head around how the one stick does walking forward/sidestepping and one does looking. What was so wrong with one doing walking forwards or sideways, and one do sidestep/look up/down?
Anyway, I've managed to play the story mode up to the point where I get on the train to chase after my colleagues who have been taken prisoner. I die on average about 15 times per mission, but it doesn't seem to matter, which is nice.

The thing that's made me feel most proud recently is having a baby named after me. To touch someone's life in a way that you really wont ever be forgotten feels truly amazing.

This thread makes me feel like I haven't achieved much frown

  • Bought my Corsa VXR aged 23, while I'm young enough and commitment-free enough to enjoy it.
  • Achieved above, without getting into masses of debt.
  • Haven't let my Crohn's disease (or other conditions) stop me achieving anything (some things slightly deferred though)
  • Quit a job that I hated on my birthday jester and immediately started a much better one
  • Have gotten interviews for every single job that I've applied for this year (and successfully secured the best one of those jobs).
