Buzzword for our company at the moment is "wallet", as in "we must increase our share of wallet this year".

BINGO! Used to play buzzword bingo on occasion, as well as that fantastically entertaining pastime where you plant made up buzzwords with a manager and try to get him to bring it up in a meeting.

And I think i should give up on life - I used granular in a conversation yesterday (the interface isn't sufficiently granular to support what you require).

I tend to cringe at many of these when I hear them...

Until I see them written down on a website like that with someone taking a whole sentence to explain the meaning behind a single word. It may be an annoying, made-up-by-Americans word, but it is just a single word (or short phrase) which takes the place of a much more convoluted use of generic English.
