what car has he got?idea
Hypothetically said PH'er has several cars, including Ferrari Spider, but said PH'er said he/she was single, therefore said Ferrari is probably a lie too!!!
Hypothetically Dangoursly Gay!

Come on Splatspeed, keep up!!

One PH'er PM's another, says that he/she is single, would you as the recipient of said PM assume that that PH'er is single or in fact in a relationship??
If they say they are single, you would assume they are single, no?

confused
I totally agree Fred, i would be confused too. Which in fact i believe the PH'er who received this PM saying that other PH'er was single was indeed very confused to receive an email from PH'ers OH, requesting what the intentions of the PM's were, very confusing indeed!!

What's confusing? That somebody might fib about being married and get caught by said spouse, who rightfully asked questions. What would you do in the reverse situation? (hypothetically speaking of course)
I totally agree that said spouse was completely rightful, in reverse situation i would never have instigated the PM or lied about my marital status.

Interesting that you pluck this PH'er out of thin air, do you know something Miss Diane that the rest of us are in the dark about??

I meant you in her situation, rather than his. IME (which is more than I am proud of) women tend not to tell those lies, they'll openly tell you they are married fairly early on (and in so doing the decision to instigate adultery becomes yours in their mind, as the "other person". Then they're morally in the clear as you could have backed away in the light of that fact, but didn't - call it a wilfully employed moral loophole as justification) but that they're still looking for >stuff<. We men however are much more stupid smile

Was it me?

When i drink I do stuff that I don't remember sometimes (like eating cat food and sleeping naked on my neighbours veggie patch, not the same time I may add)

I think I'm above your league to be honest. No offence.

...which are a *bit* different to "forgetting" you're married and flirting with someone. I've never been that hammered.

No nerve hitting here Miss Diane, fortunately i'm not involved in this one, just heard thru the grapevine about said situation and found it intriguing, wondered how many PH'ers get up to this sort of stuff, what with being a newbie i'm still finding stuff on here fascinating, maybe i'll get bored soon! I hope not tho wink

Speaking of "bullseye", here's a question for you, if the bit in the middle of the dart board is the bullseye, what do you call the ring around the bullseye, not trying to be clever, genuinely want to know the answer??

Just reading this thread makes me cringe for everyone involved.

Rather than hypothetically hashing it out so publicly that even I know what's been going on (when I haven't made any effort to follow this ridiculous episode) surely it would be better if the hypothetical people involved hypothetically just apologised for any hypothetical wrong-doing hypothetically implied or otherwise, and stopped being so hyper-pathetic.

Edited to add: of course I could be completely wrong, and the microwave just pinged - popcorn's ready. Carry on.
